About Us
Located in the city of Coachella, California, the Coachella Valley Adult School, operating since 1952 is the largest adult school in the Coachella Valley and is the third largest adult school in Riverside County. Fully Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Coachella Valley Adult School offers seven levels of ESL (English as a Second Language), and has offered Citizenship classes for over 20 years. In the last ten years, we have had over 3,000 students receive their US Citizenship at our school.
We are the GED testing center for Desert Sands Adult School, the local Center for Employment Training (CET), and local Indian casinos. We are also the only GED Center in the eastern 100 miles of Riverside County that provides Spanish testing.
Adults can earn a High School Diploma and Concurrent students can also work towards completion of credits in our Adult High School Diploma program. Being on the cutting edge of technology, our Career and Technical Education program offers computer skills programs, E-mail, web page design, as well as clerical office applications.
Our Business Financial Management Course offers all required Real Estate Classes necessary to apply for a California Real Estate exam. Our Adult school offers Notary Public classes and is a test center for the Notary Public State Exam.
Classes are offered in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Our Adult School also offers classes off campus within the Coachella Valley Unified School District.
