Mexico’s most important rock band releases the Deluxe Edition of its most important album to date.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 – Café Tacvba, Mexico’s most internationally acclaimed rock band, presents the deluxe edition of its most recent production “SINO”, released under Machete Music/Universal Music Latin Entertainment.

Since its release in October of 2007, “SINO” was critically acclaimed as the band’s “masterpiece”, spawning such break through hit singles as “Volver A Comenzar” and “Esta Vez”. The album is now available in a Deluxe Edition that includes a bonus DVD with the music videos for these singles as well as the new single “Vamonos” and previously unreleased live versions of “De Acuerdo” and “Y Es Que”. “Sino: Deluxe Edition” also showcases the original release in its entirety proving why it has been praised as not only Café Tacvba’s best album to date but also compared by many to the best rock releases in any language in the last couple of years.

The release of the new album comes just weeks after Café Tacuba took home the award for “Best Alternative Artist” at Los Premios MTV in Guadalajara, Mexico last month. The honors continue into the month of November where Café Tacvba is the most nominated artist or group at the 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. They have been given nods in the following categories: Album of the Year, “Sino”, Production of the Year, “Volver a Empezar”, Song of the Year, “Esta Vez”, Best Alternative Album, “Sino” and Best Alternative Song, “Volver a Comenzar”. Tacvba will celebrate Grammy night with a special live performance on the live award telecast on Thursday, November 13.

Café Tacvba will finish of a very successful year by taking their music to their US fan base. The band kicked off its extensive 2008 US Tour in New York City last Friday. The tour includes 23 shows in some of Tacvba’s most important US markets.

“Sino: Edición de Lujo” estará disponible en tiendas a partir de hoy!

(Miami, FL) Martes, 4 de noviembre, 2008 – Café Tacvba, grupo mexicano de amplia trayectoria a nivel mundial, presentará hoy la version deluxe de su más reciente álbum “SINO”, lanzada bajo el sello Machete Music/Universal Music Latin Entertainment.

“SINO” ha sido aclamado por los críticos como la obra maestra del grupo y este viene en un empaque de lujo junto con un DVD incluyendo los videos musicales de su grandes éxitos “Volver a Comenzar”, “Esta Vez”, “Vámonos”; lo mismo que dos videos que nunca han sido publicados “De Acuerdo” e “Y Es Que”. El disco “SINO”, lanzado en Octubre del 2007 ha sido catalogado por la prensa mexicana como uno de los lanzamientos del genero del rock alternativo mas importante de los ultimos anos y como el mejor álbum en la historia de Café Tacvba; muchos hasta aseguran que es la mejor producción de rock en cualquier idioma desde el 2007.

Café Tacvba llega con este álbum después de hacerse al Premio MTV como “Mejor Álbum Alternativo”, evento realizado en Guadalajara, México el mes pasado. Del mismo modo, Café Tacuba continua con sus éxitos en el mes de noviembre las nominaciones en la 9ª edición de los Premios Grammy Latino con la mayoría de nominaciones para un grupo en todas las categorías: Álbum del Año, “Sino”, Producción del Año, “Volver a Empezar”, Canción del Año, “Esta Vez”, Mejor Álbum Alternativo, “Sino” y Mejor Canción Alternativa, “Volver a Comenzar”. Tacvba celebrara su noche premiada con una presentación en vivo durante los premios el jueves, 13 de noviembre.

Café Tacvba, desea terminar el 2008 e iniciar el 2009 con éxito. El pasado viernes, 30 de octubre, el grupo inició una gira de conciertos, US Tour, con un concierto en Nueva York que incluyen las 23 principales ciudades hispanas de Estados Unidos.
